About Kamstar

The Kamstar group was founded at the end of 2002 as a vehicle for the reprocessing & distribution of reclaimed flooring. We stock a range of reclaimed brick tiles and reclaimed terracotta tiles. We are a family business with a 20,000 sq.ft (1,800 sqm) reprocessing plant in Poland on a 2 acre site and warehousing in the UK.

Our business is very "green" and "sustainable". Our ecological footprint is negligible. We do not quarry for any of the materials we use, but recycle building products that may otherwise be discarded or used as landfill.

Over the past years we have used our time by investing in people, skills and assets that allow us to sensitively reclaim bricks and terracotta tiles. This allows us to maintain the original surface of all our products and can therefore, be laid to achieve a truly old, yet original floor.

Our Lubelska brick tiles are cut from bricks that are more than 150 years old.

We slice the face off the bricks we reclaim, to allow them to be laid with the minimum of alteration to existing floors or loss of height from the room.

Our terracotta tiles are reclaimed from houses, farms, barns and factories. They are reprocessed from roof tiles. As with the brick tile this allows us to produce a very strong tile that is three-quarters of an inch thick and can be laid in most environments.
